Accountant

MAJOR JOB DUTIES

The ideal candidate for this position should have a good working knowledge of financial accounting and general business operations.  The incumbent will provide accounting services which involve the application of established accounting principles and concepts to carry out daily operations.  Responsibilities include: month-end closing, inventory analysis, working with financial statements, accounts receivable/payable, and other various financial analyses.

This individual must be proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and database management.  Experience with industrial ERP system is preferred.

EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business with a concentration in accounting required and 1-2 years experience is preferred.
